Another month has come and gone! Everything is well in the Baguio Mission. October was a great month. We can't wait for every email, text and Marco Polo. Sometimes my mom will Marco Polo us from the car as they are driving to their next meeting. We think the palm trees and blue sky are beautiful. Just this past weekend, she filmed the Christmas lights up at Camp John Hay in Baguio. It wasn't Temple Square, but almost! We love to hear about the missionaries and all of the many miracles happening in the mission every day. Here are a few excerpts from my dad:
"We had zone conferences last week and it was good to be with all of the missionaries. Mom gave a lesson on the Plan of Salvation and it was great The missionaries then practiced it. We taught about the man with palsy who was carried by his friends onto the roof and lowered down into he house where Jesus was teaching. He was healed. We explained that they had to exercise their faith then the miracle came. We asked them to get on the roof if necessary to find miracles in their work. We taught that faith leads to hope and they should never lose their hope. They should leave every morning full of hope that today will be a fruitful day. A day they are led to those waiting for them."
"One new missionary was feeling down about his inability to contribute much to the work especially in lessons. His trainer companion told him to think of the widow who cast in her mite to the treasury. Jesus said she had given the most because she gave what she had and the others cast in out of their abundance. That is a pretty good trainer there. We have those stories every week. They are so good these missionaries."

Whenever it is General Conference they take one off and then when they are all off we will be home in a few months. Here are pictures of them taking off the first dot." |
