More Zone Conference Rounds!

Here is a little bit from my mom's email:

"This week was so busy getting to all the zone conferences.  The first two days are especially busy because of the travel.  It all went really well.  Dad told them we are going to be excellent and enthusiastic in everything we do.  They talked about keeping apartments clean, filling out important baptismal papers neatly, and missionary work.  The missionaries love getting a lot of instruction on how to do things..."

Another MLC at their home.  They served Burker King for lunch - chicken and rice and whoppers.  A delicacy!

Dinner at McDonald's with the wonderful office staff.  My mom has expressed many times how much they love these people!

Here they are getting ready for Zone Conferences.

Candon and Bangued Zone Conference:

As they were headed to the next Zone Conference, they got a text message-- A picture of their new granddaughter, Penelope, right as they were at the top of the hill looking over Baguio.  My mom said it was a perfect moment.  They were so excited to see her and hear everything went well!  Our whole family is in love with this new baby girl.

Baguio and La Trinidad Zone Conference:

Agoo and Bauang Zone Conference:

San Fernando and Bacnotan Zone Conference:

Then it was their San Fernando Stake Conference and Elder Wakolo was there to visit and speak.  They said he was amazing!  Here is a little bit of what my mom said:

"On the Sunday morning session, Elder Wakolo said something that I wanted to remember.  He said, 'things that are seen are temporal. Things that are unseen are eternal.'  He said things like family prayer, tithing, fasting, temple attendance, love at home, etc. are not seen by the world.  Great thought!!"

and a piece from my dad's email:

"Two of the Elders in the Agoo Zone had a baptism last week.  The brother being baptized said a few words at the conclusion of the service.  He is around 40 years old.  He said that about 3 years ago he had a dream that two men in white would come to him and bring him the truth.  He thought of this dream off and on over this time.  When he saw the Elders he recalled his dream and knew they were the ones.  He listened, repented and joined the church.  The Elder said, "President I was 16 when he had that dream and he was dreaming about me, who knew?"
